Our client contacted us regarding some foundation work for a new porch at their property. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the works with the client. It was agreed that a piled concrete slab foundation would best suit this project. We agreed a price and were able to start the works the following week.
Firstly, we began by excavating for the footings for the new porch. We installed our piling scheme according to our structural engineers design (calculations included). This included steel cased top driven piles and mesh. Once completed, we arranged for the building inspector to visit site and assess the works. He passed the works and as a result we were able to concrete the next morning.
Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete piling works in Manchester, including all excavation, piling and concreting. on completion, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (design) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.
In conclusion, our clients were pleased with the high standards of our piling work and our efficiency. They were looking forward to the build of their new porch.
