  Really pleased with our recent experience with Basetec. Called for some advice on our foundations on an extension and Jim came out same day to review the site, he clearly knew his stuff and provided a quote there and then, which was competitive against other prices we'd had. They were able to start work the following week, the lads cracked on with no fuss and nothing was a problem for them despite a few setbacks with machinery.   The boys from Bolton have done a marvellous job for us carrying out piling for a single storey extension in very poor ground with a culvert nearby. Cannot praise them enough. Building inspector complimented them on the neatness and quality of workmanship. Basetec was recommended to us and we are very grateful for the recommendation. What Are Reinforced Concrete Foundations?

Reinforced concrete foundations provide a strong base for supporting a new extension or structure. In the first instance, we will visit your site to determine whether you need reinforced concrete slab foundations or piling.

Concrete foundations are relatively straightforward to install. Firstly, we will excavate to create concrete footings for the new foundation. We will then install our reinforced concrete foundations following the structural engineers’ design.

Following this, we will contact the local building inspector to ensure our works pass his inspection and meet building legislations. Once the inspector approves our work, we will concrete and complete the project.

Usually, concrete slab foundation construction only takes a few days and therefore cause minimal disruption to any projects. Overall, our foundation service includes copies of the structural engineers designs for our client and the building inspector and a full excavation and concreting service completed by our experienced, insured workforce.
