Basetec Piling recently completed a piling project for a part single-storey, part double-storey extension on Whalley Old Road, Blackburn.
The Piling Project
Commissioned directly by the homeowner, our team was on-site for a total of just 4 days, delivering a strong and reliable foundation solution tailored to the project’s specific needs.

Our Approach
The project began with a full site assessment, followed by tailored structural calculations provided by JC Structural, ensuring complete compliance and accuracy from the outset.
We carried out a reduced-level dig to establish a stable working area before installing a series of precision-placed steel piles. Once in place, steel ring beams were added to tie the foundation together.
Concrete was then pumped and poured to specification using JME Concrete Pumping and supplied by Chorley Concrete, delivering a smooth and consistent finish.
