Piled Foundations In Bury

  • Piled foundations for a new extension at a family home in Bury
  • Completed in a total of four working days
  • Structural Engineers Calculations Provided
  • Fully Insured, Qualified, Experienced Workforce

Our client contacted us regarding some foundation works for their new single storey extension to the rear of their family home. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the works with the client. We agreed that a piled foundation would best suit this project. A price was agreed and we were able to start the works the following week.

We began by excavating for the footings for the new foundation. The excavated soil was moved to a skip on site. We installed our piled foundation, to our structural engineers design. This included top driven steel cased piles and beams surrounded by corriform. Once completed, we contacted the local building inspector and arranged for him to visit site and assess the works. He passed the works and as a result we were able to concrete that same afternoon.

Overall, it took a total of four working days to complete piled foundations in Bury, including all excavation, piling and concreting works. On completion, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers calculations (design) and our piling log detailing the depths of each pile.

In conclusion, our client was pleased with all of the works completed. They were happy to be able to start the works for their new extension.
