Piling Foundations In Bolton

  • Piling foundations for new extension at a family home
  • Structural Engineers Calculations Included
  • Completed in a total of three working days
  • Fully Insured, Qualified, Experienced Workforce

Our client contacted us regarding some foundation work for their new rear single storey extension at their family home. First of all, we arranged to visit site to discuss the works with the client. We agreed that a piling scheme would best suit this project. A price was confirmed and we were able to begin the works the next working day.

We began by excavating for the footings for the new foundation. We installed our piling scheme, according to our structural engineers design. It included top driven steel cased piles and beams. Once completed, we arranged for the local building inspector to visit site and assess the works. He passed the works and as a result we was able to begin the concreting that same afternoon.

Overall, it took a total of three working days to complete piling foundations in Bolton, which included all excavation and piling works plus concreting. On completion, we provided our client with copies of the structural engineers design (calculations) and our piling log detailing the depths per pile. We also provided our insurance/warranty information.

In conclusion, our clients were pleased with the high standards of our work and also our efficiency. They were happy our work did not cause a large delay to the start of their new extension.

Below are some images from the works showing the stages before concreting;
